Table for one as this osprey starts his dinner, spotted sand bass.
Black Bellied Plover on the hunt for snacks.
Another shot of the Peregrine as it was starting to turn to leave the river channel.
While I was sitting in the mud, I got to watch this Green Heron(same one from Famosa) get closer and closer as it hunted for snacks. At one point it was about 5' away so I just watched it between the lens and gimbal head.
I found a nice rock behind some sparse but tall grass in the low tide mud of the river and was waiting for full low tide. One of the Black Bellied Plovers decided to fly in right in front of me just as the sun slid out from behind the low clouds.
A nearby fisherman spooked this Willet into flight.
I missed the crash/kill moment but did get to watch this Peregrine Falcon sit on the mudflat with its prey, a Short Billed Dowitcher, before taking off for a more secluded dining spot.
