This juvenile Green Heron was very interested in catching dragonflies. So interested that at times was too close to focus, completely oblivious to my presence and the clicking of the shutter. Sitting in the mud does have some advantages I guess.
This Eared Grebe had wandered into the territory of a pair of Pied Bill Grebes. After a momentary scuffle, the Eared Grebe was running away across the water.
